Lyrita catalogue/English music

Just noticed: AT LAST, Lyrita is reissuing its entire catalogue on CD over a period of time. This may interest those into more obscure English music repertoire/composers of the 20th Century.

I transcribed a few LPs to CDs, always amazed at the audio quality of the vinyl considering the age of some of these recordings. I think they were done by Decca engineers. The few commercial reissues so far have been excellent so I'm holding high hopes.

If this genre interests you then here's the catalogue.

NB, this isn't a commercial post; genuinely for afficionados who missed the announcement. It wasn't exactly written a mile high and I only noticed while catching up.

cheers,
reith
