Judith Weir

Did anyone listen to her works performed last week and the week before. An admirable and accomplished British composer.

She seemed to show her capabilities in the choral works performed earlier this week: Moon and Star, and Concrete, taken from a Barbican concert last Sunday - that's what "Concrete" is about, if anyone knows the Barbican.

cheers,
Reith

Re: Judith Weir

She's a lovely composer. We were at Cambridge together. Plays a mean oboe, too.
