Hi, my name is Rolan. I am 28 years old. I am from the Philippines. I am a choral musician and I worked with several volunteer choirs here in my country.

My friends and I organized a music program for the out school youth in my country because we believe that through such, these youth will have an avenue to channel their energies in a much productive way.

We initiated the program 5 years ago. The program is more than just musical training but also about helping them get a good education so that they will have a better fight for their future. So far the program, since its inception, was able to send 18 of its out of school youth member to college. This coming march is a happy day for everyone here because it is their graduation day.

Well, that is just some of my activities, but I am also studying to become a composer and it is nice to learn from fellow composers too. Nice knowing you everyone!!!
