I'm really frustrated right now because I can't find any good clear recordings of a couple of pieces I have. If anyone on here can help that would be awesome.

What do you mean by good and clear? Is there something you're trying to hear that you can't? When you say you "have" them, does that mean you have music to them and you're trying to hear what you see on the page?

Are you trying to find these pieces as excerpts?

You'd probably have better luck finding the whole work. Struass wrote Don Quixote - did Leon Minkus write one too?

I have the recordings of the music and the sound quality isn't good. Also, I don't care for the performance.

Yes Leon Minkus composed music for the ballet Don Quixote.

Quite honestly, you alone are in a position to decide whether a recorded performance is satisfactory, unless you get to know critics' reviews enough to rely on their judgements. That can backfire though.

I'm intrigued about this Don Quixote ballet, though. I might have a look up the library when time permits.
