| Hi. I'm looking for 2 things regarding music. If you know only one, that'll help too. 1. Are there any websites that have midi files of popular songs and artists for download? 2. Are there any websites or books that displays just the key and chord progressions of popular songs and artists (such as I-V-vi-IV.....)? I'm not looking for sheet music or musical scores (no measures, bars, staffs). I'm looking for just chord progressions. Thanks. |

| Re: looking for midi info and chord progressions ![]()
But recently, the whole Napster RIAA thing has caused a lot of people to stop posting MIDI files as they are in violation of copyright. 2. Same problem - copyright. But again, go to Google and search "[name of song] chord progression. There are large libraries of songs in Tab and many in chord progressions. But a lot of these have been shut down too. You used to could find tons of stuff at OLGA (on-line Guitar Archives) but they've really gotten beat up by the law! best, Steve |
