Thank you for your suggestion for sight reading.
I really appreciate all your suggestion. I will work hard on it before applying for music degree.

Work as an engineer need whole day. not like part time job.
Not much time to study after work. Therefore, I must get scholarship if I want to go England. But nevermind, now I learn my sight reading and grade 8, 1 day, I will get it. 2, 3 or 4 years, I will get it.

Thank you for your motivation. You all are really great people!

I am searching for what I can study in Royal Academy now.

It's now part of the London University. The LRAM is about the same as the final year graduate study. There's also the Royal College (if you care to look up RCM) and a few others. Many universities (Leeds/Manchester) now offer good degrees in music. I don't mind helping you find some info, if you want.

good luck.

Reith.

LRAM = Licenciate (diploma) of the Royal Academy of Music.
FRAM = Fellow of same (a difficult and expensive exam!)

Here's a start. Unfortunately, it looks like the RAM doesn't do full scholarships but I've included what I found.

These other colleges are every bit as good: the Royal College of Music and the Royal Northern College (in Manchester).

And the Royal Academy.

Huh, looking through that lot, the breadth of courses, teaching and syllabuses are getting more complicated every day. Also, many UK universities do good music degrees and you can always convert it to a diploma as a post-graduate, if you chose.

I'll see what I can find out.
good luck,
Reith,

thank you very much. I will see what i can do.
I feel that it is not easy to get the sholarship unless your performance at audition is very good and also pass grade 8 with a very very good score.
Too few sholarship but too much people to apply
