I am currently in the process of writing my first suite for classical guitar, which is coming along pretty well at the moment. My second movement is nearly done, I'm in the process of revision. And the third will hopefully be a more virtuosic and spicy piece compared to my previous works

I mainly write classical guitar pieces, and I'm working on one now based on Bach's A Musical Offering. It uses the main theme and some of the other canons in a highly virtuosic fashion. I've tried to make it a bit more tonal...the person for whom I'm writing it (Antonio de Innocentis) prefers a less dissonant style than in my other pieces. It's quite a challenge to write music that is semi-melodic yet original!

I'm currently working on my next solo piano album. It's coming on quite nicely, but I don't want to rush it as even the pieces that I thought were finished keep growing into something new. I've been messing about with the idea of composing something for a string orchestra. I've got about four ideas flying about but I keep running into a block within the first few minutes of them.
