| Picking out "screamed" vocals by ear - how? So I'm picking out this song by ear, I have pinned down all the guitar parts (except some irritating pinch harmonics, I can't find the right note ), drums, bass (mostly by guesswork and intuition though, since it can't be heard very well) and the brief cleanly sung parts. However, I would also like to notate the screamed vocals. I have picked out the rythm, but notating them with notes has proven to be difficult. As far as I know screamers screams at certain "pitches" and alternate between them, so that they don't really create a melody, but still keeps the sound at a certain frequency. Does anyone have any idea how, if it is even possible, to pick out the pitch (or whatever I need to do lol) so I can notate the screamed vocals as well?
