| Piano society is not dead. I think the adminstrators were trying to add in new features, that's all. Anyway, first one to criticise, just joking. Your Alpenglow piece reminds me of the "The piano" soundtrack. Your composition will be a great piece to use as film music  I like how you use the piano effectively, especially the range you used, very wide. Also I love the key changes and great changes in dynamics but I think an even bigger climax near the middle can be made and more variations. Effective ending and I love it. Congratz, I think this is a pretty succesful composition. Just wondering what's the intention for composing this piece? The invention sounded like a Baroque piece, of course, it's still a very modern composition. It just sounded a bit too repetitive and I guess more extended techniques can be included and variety of note values. Other than that, it's a pretty fun piece to listen or play Looking forward to your next composition, perhaps something other than piano or do you only compose piano music? |
