| Just jammin' I wanted to throw together some disparate elements. This track has a Cajon (flamenco box drum), a bass viol, 4 bass recorders, a bass guitar, and some software instruments. Enjoy. Victor. |

| Re: Just jammin' Cool! I don't think I've ever heard a Cajon or a bass recorder before. Actually, I'm not sure I've heared a bass viol either. Oh, and that's a fretless bass, right? |

| Re: Just jammin' As I have said before: You are an undiscovered artist on Rephlex Records, or Skam Records… ![]() Good thing! ![]() Regards |

| Re: Just jammin' ![]()
Bass recorder: not all that low, but played with other recorders it sounds relatively deep. Lowest note is only F below middle C. Bass viol: tuned in fourths, D-G-C-E-A-D, has frets. Went out of fashion around 1700. Bass guitar: yep. Fretless. Victor. |

| Re: Just jammin' No, I have one. I'm pretty big on early music. Recorder is my main instrument, but I play viol with some people in town, just for fun. There is some great 5 and 6 part viol music, for instance by Gibbons. Victor. |
