Thank you for unearthing that, Thorolf. I may give it a try though I was a bit offput by the activation process. I may email them. I hope it doesn't mean I have to connect to the web to use it thereafter as I'll probably be working 'on the move'. cheers, Reith.

Re: Piano plug-in / Vsti Hi Reith, I was considering getting myself a good virtual piano and was considering Garritan's official Steinway or Akoustik Piano of NI, but stumbled on Pianoteq as well. Did you give it a try? Can you share some experiences? Peter

Re: Piano plug-in / Vsti Well, I did give it a try and liked the sound of it. Very impressive for such a small program. Does anyone know how to get it to work in the kontakt player that comes with Finale (2008)? I had it operational in Garageband and could play acoustic piano with my midi controller. I had it playing a midi file exported from Finale, but would love to have direct access within Finale so that I can incorporate the sound of it with other instruments played with the Garritan library. Any help is welcome!

Re: Piano plug-in / Vsti All, nevermind the last question, Finale 2009 can handle it. Unfortunately my trial period has ended... I like the pianoteq software very much !
