Flame 192

Time: 1'22"

This piece isn't exactly pretty...it isn't exactly awful either, just part way between: pretty awful. It was my first go at using any kind of computer software for music a bit over a year ago.

192 is the tempo.

I used the vsts and wavs that came with the demo and 'wrote' this basically in four tracks. The synths were polyphonic. Extra tracks were added for other effects given on the disc. The drumming is poor...I was more interested in finding out how the thing worked than finesse though I couldn't resist getting into more typical harmony as it went along.

It got encouraging comments at home but more because of actually doing something than the result. I also posted it on an earlier incarnation of music web as an experiment in uploading, so it was altogether a useful exercise.

One moves on quickly from this kind of thing obviously but it was a start.

Edit - now withdrawn as part of clear-up
