Different Sheet Music

I'm working on creating generic "blank" scores for us to use in our compositional bouts of genius. The first one is for a semi-massive woodwind choirs (group in 3+1 of each section).

Later on, if everyone likes this, I'll post a Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Orchestral.

Re: Different Sheet Music

Handy, that. Thanks. I may have to wait to get to an A3 (UK size folio) printer though. Might even work with A4 - that's a bit taller and narrower than "letter" size.

cheers,
reith

Re: Different Sheet Music

Quite honestly, I don't know how you guys handle full orchestral/band scores on a computer (especially reading and studying them) when the bloomin thing won't fit my (admittedly modestly-sized) screen vertically. I tried turning the thing sideways but, nn-nn....

I need to have the page(s) of score before me. It's a bit like being forced to look at an art-work - let's say Rubens' Salome (must be about 4m X 3m - that's c 14ft x 10ft in the old money) - in 30cm-sq chunks. Nahhhh!

I've had a few 'contests' with my friend who's a Sibelius user. When it comes to roughing out, just getting ideas down, paper wins by miles.

Re: Different Sheet Music

Anyone have any requests? Now that I've finished a few pieces that have been devouring my free time, I can make some of these. I'll create a full symphonic band, of course.

But that's going to require Legal size paper (I don't know what the A # is for that) in order to print it off.

Believe me, I just had to reformat the score for something because of how it's setup.
