Well, there's quite alot of it out there.

If you go to the unofficial Nobuo Uematsu page, www.nobuouematsu.com, you'll find a great deal of the music there. Granted, it's arranged, but if you just want the pieces themselves, it's a great place to go.

If you want the originals, try going to www.vgmusic.com, the midi archive of video game music. If I remember correctly, many of the games used synthesizers similar to midi, and the vgmusic site should have about 90% of all tracks on the tracklist. And they should sound similar.

Re: Final Fantasy sheet music

And a second thought, even though I know I'm kind of bumping my earlier post (though not on purpose):

Most of the piano music you have out there is pretty decent. For a violin, stick to the top line. Since Violins are C instruments (non-transposing), you don't have to do anything but read. And that's a good thing, as the top line is usually the melody.

Speaking of which, is there any interest in maybe a four- or five-part combo series of Final Fantasy music? I had a group of five people who usually played FF music, and we had it broke out into five "books" like this:

Book 1: Trumpet
Book 2: Clarinet
Book 3: Tenor Sax
Book 4: Trombone
Book 5: Tuba

It was kind of cool, actually. Made for a unqiue arrangement. If there's any interest, I could start compiling stuff for these books in this setup, and add some instruments to it (like Trumpet/Clarinet and Flute/Oboe for Book 1) so you could swap books out. What do you guys think of that idea ont op of all of this?
