Studio Ghibli

Hey, have people seen the studio ghibli films? Thats got lovely music, and beautiful animation. Does anyone have a favourite film? I think Castle in the sky and Spirited Away are great.

I have seen a bunch of them but to tell you the truth I don't really remember the music. I just downloaded the score to castle in the sky a minute ago, so maybe I will find out how good it is sometime.

Why do I get the feeling this topic was started due to a load of Studio Ghibli films on Film Four?

I have a slightly different take on these films because I downloaded the music about a year beforehand and know the pieces fairly well; seeing it put to video makes it quite special indeed.

I like Naussica (SP?) mainly because of a couple of the tracks in it; Porco Rosso appeals to my more academic side (aircraft rock) and I really need to get around to watching Spirited Away.

Ah, now I had actually already seen these films- just a coincidence they were on film4! Spirited Away is amazing, definitely a favourite.
