The ones that usually gets stuck in my head are the Sonic the Hedgehog tunes...I think they're alright...

I very much agree with you. Every now and then I'll get down from the loft my old Chrono Trigger and give it a play just to hear that music!

I think the music from Nintendo 64's Yoshi Story is cute and fits the game very well. That samba at the end, when you get through all the stages, blows my mind. The composer to that game (Kazumi Toda) said he wrote all the pieces while munching on dried squid.

Final Fantasy FTW!
Personally I prefer the music in FF VIII (8), but yeah, Uematsu Nobuo really knows how to create some moods ^_^

Also, the music in Metal Gear Solid / 2 is very atmospheric
