![]() To me, the score of Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring”, is deeper, requires more skill, and gives me far more joy than anything Beethoven ever wrote ![]() Regards |

| I had that too, especially when I went listening to the London SYmphonic ORchestra two years ago. I was just on the tip of my seat. Listening and being attentive on what was going on, all those little things, the contrasts, I got that less with Van Beethoven, and none what so ever with Mozart, maybe the requiem is an exception but that isn't even wholly composed by him. But back on Final Fantasy, I listened to the music of Fable a similar RPG, and I found that much more intriguing than the Final Fantasy score to be honest. (Theme is made by Danny Elfman, and well I'm a great fan of him ) |

| I'm not particularly keen on contemporary music, but as far as it goes the final fantasy music draws me in to want to listen a lot longer than I usually would. I agree with MaestroX in saying that this music is suitable for its purpose, as was Bach's, so what's the use in comparing them with eachother? I would understand more if Bach was being compared to Vivaldi or Handel and the final fantasy music to something more of the same style, not really any other way round! |

| I have a friend who isn't a musician but really loves the FF Music, which I think is quite important, which means that it's easily accessible and enjoyable for many. One of the important things about music for me is the emotion that is conveyed, so that fits in quite nicely ![]() |
