| The Battle Room, and other various pieces I wrote this orchestral piece a year ago and am now in the process of getting it published. I would like any feedback you could give me. I'm not going to post the score until it is published though. www.myspace.com/paulmarquissee The piece is called The Battle Room I also have a string quartet and 2 electronic pieces. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| Re: The Battle Room, and other various pieces Quite a nice piece - energetic, powerful and my main comment is the lack of dynamic variation. It's the kind of piece where, with a full orchestra, a wide dynamic range could enhance it a lot (witness the Rite of Spring). I'm not too sure about the scoring from just listening - it sounds good but I can't comment in detail in the absence of a score: as the player's progress bar doesn't give a timing I can't comment by way of timings Can you tell us what the piece is for? It could be game or film music or a standalone concert piece. reith |
