I have Finale 2004 and can't read your .mus file most likely because it's 2005 or higher, and the Finale idiots won't make things backwards compatible. Still, even with Sibelius, you have to have the Scorch plug-in. Since everyone reads PDFs now, it's less of a hassle for your potential audience to use a PDF file.

Likewise, post (or link to) an audio (midi file, wav file, etc.) as well. Some people are not as good at score reading as others and a sound is worth a thousand staves in this regard.
