Here ya go. I also posted a mp3 version of it (thanks to Finale's somewhat not-so-decent renderer). It's only about 1:10 in length, but the file is 2:01 because of the extra measures I haven't put anything into yet. So don't worry about that. http://jmsmusicals.wikispaces.com/sp...r+Overture.mp3

Great, I like waht you've done with it so far, I'm really looking foward to hearing the full arrangement. Will you be getting a live recording of this once you've practiced with your band?

Hey Guys this is a really awesome piece. It'd be good for MaestroX to have his music played globally. Well Done MaestroX. . . . .

Maybe a disclaimer should be placed on the front page of the score: "Do not attempt to recreate fight sequences from Pirates of the Caribbean while listening to this piece. In addition, the composer waives all responsibility for any who choose to dance while wielding a sword." Yeah, that should do it. I'm doing as much work as possible on the arrangement, while trying to stay true to the original. Apparently, I'm doing at least a decent job. I don't have the best equipment when it comes to recording, but I'll see what I can't do about getting one once the arrangement is complete.
