Overture from my opera

Great. Makes a nice overture with some delicious harmony in the lyrical sections, (thinking about 1'35" and 4'20"). Very little comment to give - the balance is fine, as is the production. It seemed perhaps long for an overture but as I have no idea of the scale of the entire work, the length is probably irrelevant!

The scoring in the "final duet" is extremely delicate.
Death scene quietly intense.

Guys, thanks so much for your comments. I will try to post some more mp3s over the next weeks. At the moment I'm conducting performances of Britten's "Rape of Lucretia" with a great cast here in Bangkok (and in Hanoi next week). Logging onto here makes a pleasant relief and it is good to see a lot of young people being so creative.

Very nice work so beautifull i don't have the skills to write a comment on diffrents musical technics but can just tell you that your music is beautifull.

I just listened to the overture, and it is very lush and dynamic. Well done, a very well composed beautiful piece, if this piece last for the ages, it would not surprise me.

The Siam Philharmonic played beautifully. A fine group of musicians.
