Encyclopedia format?

What format should the Encyclopedia be in?

I already have a system in place and I have put a few test articles in for you to see how it works.

Many people have been requesting a wiki system.

What are your thoughts?

Based on my experience, a wiki is the easiest and most efficient way to do these kind of things.

Oh, by the way, MY FIRST POST!

Congrats on the first post. Yes i think wiki is going to be the option here, i've just discovered a flaw in the current system. You cannot move posts, Which is prity vital.

So i'l be installing it tomorow and hopefully all goes well

Yeah, wiki is pretty much the way to go.
Congrats on your decision!

well, for a community project of this size I think a wiki is the only way to go. No other software enables people to get as fully involved as with a wiki.

Just to let you guys know, the wiki is installed! But there is some maintence I need to apply first. At the moment you have to have a seperate acount for the forum and the wiki, I'm planning to intergrate the two. This should take a couple of days and soon the wiki will be open for everyone to get involved in.

Question: I have an encyclopedia of composers... I wonder if it would help to at least index from there--I want to do Bartok and a few others--but I'm just wondering if a big list of names not filled out would just be--that....

p.s. I'm still do not know my way around the wiki, but will read the help files
soon. al
