First job for translation

Hi! Remember that I have sad that I am going to try to translate the music-web encyclopedia after my HKAL Exam? Yeah, here I have done the very first thing, the main page translation. It is located here:
http://www.music-web.org/wiki/%E9%9F...%BB%E9%A 0%81
I need co-operations for making the respective link on the left panel like the Wikipedia. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Re: First job for translation

Wow, very cool!

I'll have to look into how to do the language choice like wikipedia to streamline the process. Also the url seems a little off. I'll look into it

Thanks!

Re: First job for translation

If the Encyclopedia needs more translations, I might try doing the finnish version, although I don't promise anything (sometimes I get so lazy!). But, anyway, I think translations would be cool

Me and my big mouth...

Well, I translated the front page of the Encyclopedia, but I don't know how to add it to the website. How do I do that?

Just type your decided title into the search bar. Then type go. If it ask you to create the page, do so. Then paste everything into the box and submit. Next, add the links of your page to the original page like what I did in the original Main Page.

I love your enthusiasm!

We are currently working to get a fully multilingual system running so you guys can create your translations easier.

Wikipedia uses a similar system that we're going for

Re: First job for translation

Umm, I pasted my translation in the edit box for the new page, but it doesn't look anything like Joshua's page in the preview (which looks similar to the original front page but in a different language). Help?

Actually...... At the very beginning of your edit, you should go to the main page and click edit. Then copy all stuffs from the box and use the content of the box to start your translation. This will remain all the predefined format as the format are in half-HTML.
