Music-Web Multilingual Encyclopedia

Hello,

After recent interest at expanding our encyclopedia project beyond the english language the Music-Web staff have been discussing for some time.

As of yet we have not fully decided which langauges we will offcially support.

We have two main concerns:

• The english encyclopedia has not been expanded enough to justify the creation of translations.
• Music-Web staff can not deal with all languages, thus making moderation and maintenance much more difficult.

In the meantime we have setup the encyclopedia to be expandable to easily add extra languages on. This means operating a central encyclopedia as a media resource repository in which all other encyclopedia can draw from. This has currently been setup here: Music-Web Encyclopedia Central*
