Cool, I'm listening to some final fantasy music. Some from the film "Advent Children" and some for the concert. Amazing stuff!

As I type I have on a boxed set of Vaughan Williams orchestral works recorded by Sir Adrian Boult and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, specifically at this moment 'In the Fen Country'

Some lovely languid English pastoral music evocative of forests and valleys and villages and fields to put me in the mood for my trip!

HUGO WOLF: Spanisches Liederbuch, to me one of the supreme works from Wolf.

Fischer Dieskau and Schwarzkopf are very good.

Clare Fischer — Coco B. Nobody uses voicings like Clare Fischer.
Depapepe — It Was a Good Day. They're a two man guitar group from Osaka, who have got a nice feel.
Aaron Aranita — (Song for) Natalie. I think he's really interesting to listen to with his very fresh voicings and well thought ideas.

Wow, someone knowing Clare Fischer!

I only know his song “One Night (In a dream)” which was performed by the vocal group 2+2. One of the greatest vocal performances I ever heard, as well as a stunningly beautiful piece! But notoriously elusive to find anywhere…, so I only have a lo-fi cassette tape recording of it :-(

But I got a copy of the vocal score, in his own handwriting

Regards

Clare Fischer's Latin Patterns CD is still out there, Thorolf. It features a vocal group Clare himself put together. You should check it out because that was a great side. Awesome performances. I think it's amazing you've got one of Clare's scores — in his own hand, no less! Wow!
