| Re: does anybody like this song??? XD, believe what you want, the facts are that it takes a high level of talent to play this song |

| Re: does anybody like this song??? No, it doesn't take a high level of talent to create this noise. It takes a few guitar FX processors, amps with the volume turned up to 11 and a drummer on drugs. This "music" is just as pointless and idiotic as the cartoon, so at least they go well together.

![]() Although, this isn't my cup o' tea either, I've got a few albums with tracks of hard-core metal in my collection for just "those moments" where it's needed... As for whether there's talent here (I wouldn't term it "high level" talent), you'd have to see these guys live to be the judge of that, as playing this music does require some endurance and lock-on precision to be tight in a live situation. I'm somewhat sure that, in the studio, there were mutliple takes and/or adjustments to the tracks in ProTools (or whatever they were using) to lock it all up. I DO think that there was a high level of talent with the audio engineer who mixed this. The song itself is pretty simple in structure and content - beyond the speed and amount of notes being played. I also don't think the music fits with the anime - sounds more like someone muted the original soundtrack and plunked this in with the visuals. Just my two cents. D |

| Re: does anybody like this song??? It sounds more brit punk to me where they used to play at manic paces. Like the Damned doing "Please please me" in 1'24". It isn't bad though I prefer the bands from that era, the Banshees, Pistols, Damned, the Saints - particularly the latter who had it extremely tight live, judging by a bootleg I have. So, it's ok but nothing unusual. cheers. |

| Re: does anybody like this song??? well, 1 the drummers not on drugs, 2 they do use a guitar petal, but you need talent to sync it with the playing, 3 guitar takes more talent than anything you could like, let me take a guess at what u like, rap or hip hop... and in those 2, there are alot of drug use, but its the singer whos using, because last time i checked a synthetic drum machine cant take drugs |

As for playing guitar, I've been there, done that. I played some hard rock in my days, from Deep Purple to Led Zeppelin, etc. Jimmy Hendrix or Jimmy Page is talent. Metallica is speed. Don't confuse the two. Eric Clapton or Dave Gilmour never played too fast or too loud, but they did ok in the talent department. Home work for you: Listen to Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Colosseum, Van der Graaf Generator, Jethro Tull, Frank Zappa and maybe some Weather Report or Mahavishnu Orchestra. Then you can advance to Bartok, Prokofiev and Stravinsky. If you pay attention, you may like them.
