AS and A level Results!

I got my AS results today, they're not what I hoped for but I can make up for it next year hopefully, passed them all above C's with the exception of maths of course but that was a no hope anyhow! lol

Keep in mind that A/AS results are more a factor in determining which university you go to more than anything else.

About 6 years ago, I got an A, D and a C (D&T, maths and physics), ended up in a southern university, got a first class degree and am now studying for a doctorate (near the end of my second year). Looking at it now, anyone who got results like that would probably feel quite bad. It's funny how times change.

Heck that's still good now! I only know a couple of people that got an A in their As's. As for me I wasn't so fortunet to get an A in any of my As exams but I did better then I thought I would so I am happy.

On the contrary, I know many people who would love those results now, as they recieved U's and E's, so don't always listen to the news, results may be getting better, but what subjects are they getting better in?

I mean many people seem to think that subjects such as music and art are easy but they aren't, it takes a lot of talent to do well. I count myself quite lucky for getting a C in music because my school is actually one of the worst in the area, and I always have to check whether i'm being taught the right thing, they never seem to know what they're talking about! I feel its unfair I shouldn't have to go so far out my own way to teach myself!!

Jesus, who says Music is an easy subject? Because I'd like to see them pass it!! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication and it's really upsetting when people don't appreciate that.
Well done everyone who got the C's or under, it may not be what you hoped for but all the people who've done A Levels will understand how hard they are and how proud you should be :-)

You guys have AL/AS too in England? Here it goes the same here in Hong Kong! I'm still studying and would take the exam in March. Hell......Still a long and tiring road ahead! I'm now studying Pure Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, AS Use of English and AS Chinese Language & Culture....... Such kind of "Scientific" subject huh?
