Music that makes you happy!

I'm just curious!
Music usually really affects my mood and mental weariness (meaning that, depending on what music I listen to, I can easily be happy, sad, energetic or tired), so what kind of music makes you feel happy?

For me it's the obvious: upbeat music makes me happy, it generally doesn't matter what kind of genre it is (unless you're talking about schlager or most of the dutch stuff)

What's it for you?

If by happy you mean the smiling kind of happy, then no music makes me happy. If by happy you mean in a blissful state, then I would say that any good music makes me happy.

Two pieces of music by teenage composers:

Mendelssohn, Octet
Suk, Serenade for Strings

and for something completely different:

"Tim-tayshun" by Red Ingle (on the back of "Cigareetes, whuskey and wild wild women"), especially but not solely for its outrageous sequence of rapid modulations flatward.

About half of Sufjan Stevens' work (especially "The Predatory Wasp," I smile so much during that song), They Might Be Giants, Dresden Dolls, Smetana's "Moldau" (oooh how I love that piece), and many, many pieces from the Baroque just put a bounce in my step...

I could go on and on and on but I'll spare you all the torment...
