I can understand why you don't like Death Metal, it's not my favourite kind of music either, but to say it's talentless? hmm, I meant that I don't like death metal which is.. talentless.. lol sounds dumb but I just don't know how to explain it properly.. hmm.. there is some death metal that just has an overall feel of awfulness to it. that's what I meant I think. yeah, it must be pretty hard to play that fast that is true. =] those guys have too much energy!

Death metal is a genre that can be easily played, if you want to be mediocre. Unfortunately, the number of death metal bands that are absolute crap are so numerous, it takes away from the really good death metal bands like Lykathea Aflame.

There really is no music that makes my skin crawl, but any genre can have a band that's so bad that it does.

I agree on your statement. Death metal definitely isn't my genre, but I think anyone interested in music (or maybe not even so much) can hear the difference between quality and junk.

I think one could compare it to a tuned guitar and one not entirely so

Death metal I must agree on isn't my taste at all. Music that does make me cringe is cheesy pop songs! I can't stand them at all

Anything that comes under the category "urban". I can't stand any of that at all. Makes me want to shoot people (ironic, really, since thats what a large part of that content is about, as the press have us to believe).

I don't actually mind death metal; my brothers are into it a little, but we all treat it as a bit of a laugh.
