Seeking songs for educational project

(I hope this is an appropriate place for this post, and apols if you've already come across it on another forum - am trying not to spam!)

Would you like your music to be heard by young people across the UK?

I am writing on behalf of the Creative Mathematics Group at the Institute of Education in London. We are currently producing a set of cross-curricular educational materials for secondary school students, involving music and mathematics, and I am looking for music tracks to use. These will be included on a CD ROM which will be sent out to schools, and they will also be featured on the project website.

Having played in bands myself, I see this as a perfect opportunity to form a mutually beneficial relationship with other musicians. Rather than simply hire a professional company to produce a quantity of music suitable to our needs, I want to use this project to showcase a selection of real, up-and-coming artists and bands.

How it works:
You submit one or more music tracks, and give us permission to copy and distribute them.
Selected tracks are included in the project materials, and are heard by an audience of young people across the country, giving you a great deal of free publicity.
Full details of the artists or bands will of course be provided (including web links if available), so when students hear something they like, they can easily find out more about you.

Requirements:
The music may be of any genre.
Tracks must have a clear beat and fairly constant tempo.
Tracks must not contain obscene language. (It is for use in schools, and we don't want complaints!)
