How do I get more channels iin Sibelius?

Hi!
In Sibelius 4.1 with the silver player, how do I get a seperate midi channel for every instruments in my score? I am using 19 different instruments but can not give them each their own channel. All the strings (I'm using a full string orchestra) are now set to the same pan, not want I want. And it is very difficult to change the midi channel numbers in the mixer. Do I need to do this somewhere else?

greetings,
André
