Re: Finale 2008

Well, we all get to make mistakes, and this forum is a great place to make them Come to think of it, I found out about ondes martenot here.

There are probably more, and I'm not sure if some of those were already on there before.
Thanks for the reply.

In the setup wizard world percussion is included. I guess I should have been more specific. I meant if more world percussion was included with in the GPO? In older versions when setting up the score with GPO one didn't really have a good selection of world percussion (which I need and want) lol.

I was hoping someone would ask! I'm about to buy an iMac and wondered the same thing! I hope the sound samples, especially classical guitar, sound better on a Mac. It may just be my sound card--a lot of the instruments don't sound very realistic. It's even worse with Sibelius! I'm hoping Mac is the answer...

Do you have it? 2009?
If yes, is it any better than 2008?

Thank you. You know I got the same mail only 2 days after purchasing my very own 2008 version?

That got me really pissed. They could have told me it was coming. I could have waited a few days and got myself the very newest one..... For the same price !

Now it will cost me more dollars to upgrade if I want that (I wonder if I do want to upgrade... the only reason I can think of it because of the improved virtual instrumentation).

Oh wel......

Ok, I stand corrected.

I contacted customer services of MakeMusic and they told me they have a 30 day policy for these situations.
I can get the 2009 upgrade for free !
Thank you MakeMusic!

Peter

P.S. anyone interested in a fully legal, barey used copy, including documentation, of Finale 2008? Let me know what it is worth to you....(you'll have to pay the shipping cost too, or pick it up in the Netherlands)
