The hypothetical question thread

Here's the idea of this thread; A person asks a purely hypothetical question to be answered by the next poster who then asks a hypothetical question of his own. However, any new poster may answer any number of past questions if they wish, but they must answer the question of previous poster and they must place their own question. This just fun way to find out strange things about each other.

Alright, I'll ask the first question. If you could instantly learn ANY language (spoken and written) which would you choose?

That one's easy! I would definitely want to learn Tolkien's Sindarin.

Here's my question: If you were transformed into an amphibian, which kind would you become? You may choose a specific species if you want

I can't imagine myself as an amphybian... if I had an animal inside at all it's an eagle or a spider, not sure which! Maybe people will have trouble with this one, still.... if my singing is anything to go by, others would think of me as a frog... That's the best I can do!

For amphibian transformation, maybe this amphibian?



Next question: If you could reprogram yourself (once) to get rid of spesific memories (traumas, embarrasments etc.), would you do it?

I couldn't change anything. I might have said memories of unhappy early years but I treasure them because through them I came to appreciate the value of true happiness/contentment. If anything I'd have my lightheartedness toned down a bit and be less timid with heights (not sure what registers hold the vector addresses of those tho).

My question then: If you had the chance to visit another planet/town/island that's in your imagination, what would it be called and what would it be like (climate, population density, technological level, amenities etc).
