It's happening... I'll join in, given the chance! My interest lies mostly in the 20th Century but includes Debussy, Ravel, Delius and some American (north and south) composers. I'm not so hot on the history and more practical than intellectual so don't expect too many long words and musical jargon!! What is your area of interest?

Mostly, right now, I'm writing piano music. I tend to be a bit stuck in the 19th century. I used to like lots of 20th century stuff, but I seem to have lost my tasts except for Villa Lobos and Rachmaninov. I find most everything from chant to Tchaikovsky interesting.

I think this is a good attitude to have... Forums all have different flavors, and people will be drawn to the one that suits them the best. This forum has a wide variety of people, but others are more narrow... The web is huge and ever expanding.
