hehe, thanks!

well, it's not a monstruous machine;
600MHz, 256RAM and a 9GB HDD (meaning that I've got 6 left, because of winXP)

But it's pretty much a lifesaver, 'cause this will surely come in handy for school

Not bad, good going. I have a laptop but I rarely use it. I prefer sitting at my desktop computer

I was lucky enough to get a laptop too (well, not lucky, it cost me 500 bits) but like you say, it is amazingly useful. I intended to use it to code stuff for work, but I ended up using it for work, light gaming and also it now has the only working modem in the whole house, which was another bonus.
Unfortunately, my aspirations for turning it into a mobile light composition machine seem to be impossible with this spec. unless I pour in some serious money...

...but yeah, nothing beats sitting in the lounge with a laptop. :>
