Wow, how crazy is that. It takes a while before you can get your head round it, but it seems to make sense. It brings up lots of interesting ideas up, even time travel, but i've always thought time travel would be impossible. Here's my thinking:

A close friend dies in a car crash -> You travel back in time to take away their car keys so they have to walk -> Back in the present you friend dosn't die in a car crash -> You never go back in time to take away their car keys -> You close friend dies in a car crash.

A loop occurs which makes it impossible to change any even that has already occured.

If you, according to the narrative in the “Tenth Dimention”, fold only the 5th dimention, you might indeed conclude that there is no way to “get there from here” in that dimention only. If, on the other hand, you fold the 5th through the 6th dimention, this may open up the possibility of making it happen after all, as this involves a new set of possible timelines, not only the ones that comes from the acts of choice and observation differences alone (if I interpret this correctly!). So while what you say is true for the actual timeline of your life, this leads to a multitude of possible timelines. This is often interpreted as the idea of “Parallel Universes”, or a higher-dimentional “multiverse”.
