Musician licensing - Important or What?!?!

Just received details in an email. Seems Big Brother is, er, casting his seed upon the ground again...people who take our taxes but haven't got anything better to do than this -

Seems that in the UK, if more than two musicians play together they will in future need a license. Here's a petition to add your objections. You have to be a UK citizen to sign it, unfortunately... still...

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to recognise that music and dance should not be restricted by burdensome licensing regulations.

Thats ridiculous! i've signed

The government seems to be coming up with alot of "great" ideas lately. Trying to charge us for every mile we drive in our car. Next they'll be charging for using pavments.
