what you will tell about group "The Beatles"

I think that "The Beatles" the most remarkable, all favourite and unique group. In the end of the last year there was a new album of this legendary group. Last masterpiece - an album ĞLOVEğ.

Now I am engaged in loading of their songs and I shall necessarily suggest you to listen them ;-)
It will be pleasant to me to listen to your opinion on this group, what you will tell about them?[

Re: what you will tell about group "The Beatles"

I studied some of the Beatles' music last year and I found alot of it very good. They really pushed the bar high and experimented with alot of new techniques that moved the genre foward to new heights.

I think without the beatles we would be without much of the pop music we have today. From my knowledge the band Oasis are highly influenced by the Beatles

The Beatles were actually the first music I ever listened, so they have a special place in my heart . They defenetly made some wonderful music, and influenced many other musicians. They also wrote a lot of redundant songs, but they all do... I do wish Paul would have been a better bass player though.

To me, Beatles’ older hits was their best ones: The best rock’n’roll riff in the world: Day Tripper. I find their newer stuff generally less interresting, I see great qualities, but it doesn’t talk to me the way e. g. Day Tripper, Paperback Writer, Ride My Car, Please Please Me, Rain and Love Me Do do.

Re: what you will tell about group "The Beatles"

To me, the Beatles were important because i) they upturned certain traditions of the music biz - the singer-songwriter was rare before they appeared and gave a rude sign to the music publishers' practice of allocating songs to singers. ii) They proved that people could write very good music without an academic musical education.

Sergeant Pepper was a revolution in its time - probably a peak in the Beatles' development because they then reverted to retro dross. Crikey, it was in the album charts for about 4 years along with other classics of the genre! (When you think, that was recorded on a 4-track.) It was also an ironic commentary on social conventions of the establishment which I can believe helped many young people see the illusions.

Paul McCartney is arrogant but I do give him marks for trying...not having others ghost in his music as happened a lot in Mass of Liverpool. At least he's looking for something.

As for Please Please Me, I found the Damned's rendition stupendous. 1 minute 24 seconds??? That's energy.

Yep, that's one badass riff. Jimi Hendrix also has his interpertation and it really shows you what it could have been had only they used more overdrive

It is pleasant to listen to such responses about this group
But as not strange there are such people which at all did not hear about Beatles, and to me it is not clear as such can be??
They have many good songs, for example:

"A Day In The Life"
"Good Morning Good Morning"
"Everybody S Trying To Be My Ba"

And certainly a lot of others
