Fauxharmonic Greetings friends, Anyone have experiences with Fauxharmonic? (http://www.fauxharmonic.com) I've been in contact with the main guy (a conductor now "conducting" electronic orchestra's for purpose of playing your music without having to find the actual musicians) and to me it seemed a good idea if you want your symphony or other music played but can't find the people to do it for you (my problem since day one). His prices are a bit steep for only a piano (my cases all the time; ~ 270 $ for a piece.... if there are good pianists who's want to significantly cut this and play my tune(s) to mp3.... let me know: mail me or send me a private message) but for an entire orchestra it seems a good idea. Kind regards, Peter

Re: Fauxharmonic ![]() That said, you probably could find a pianist to play your music for less than $270 per piece, though I'm not sure you would also get a good recording of the performance for that price. Another option you might want to consider, if you are comfortable with it, is the new virtual Steinway software from Garritan. It does not require a host application (i.e., an expensive bit of software to run "inside" of) and sounds bloody impressive, IMO. It's about US$300, I think. http://www.garritan.com Charles

Re: Fauxharmonic It is all very nice and clean but I think that I would rather hear my music played live, warts and all!
