One of my friends play celtic harp. That sure isn't that expensive (it's like an expensive clarinet), but it can't play as much music as I think the others can. Only celtic music and stuff like that Anyway she told me, that you always start on a celtic harp if you start in an early age, so maybe you could do that to

If you have played anything at all on beforehand, esp. piano, picking up harp should be rather easy to get a start with. However, getting good is always difficult, regardless of instrument.

The celtic harp is diatonic, which means what you can play on it is very limited. The sound is good, it’s one order of magnitude cheaper than the Italian Baroque Triple, but I, for one, could never live with the limitations…

Regards

I wish I had easy access to the instruments and skilled players. I find it a bit unsettling writing for instruments whose capabilities I'm unsure of.

"WISH", so I choose flute. Maybe because the girl I love plays flute so I love it the most.......
Well, but I have got too many already, the trumpet, the French horn, the violin, and even singing....... but don't even have a grade for any of them.......
So, I would rather stick to my trumpet and violin.......
But at the same time, I don't satisfy to be a bass, I want to be a baritone! (I mean singing.)

Well, I wish I could play the Cello. Its moderately low range and mellow sound have always been a source of captivation for me. Also the Piano, ah that free and open range is really worth investing time learning it.

But the Flute has always mystified me, with its peaceful and harmonious sound. Also the versatility of it, since there is a special flute for every culture, thus adding a magical touch into every music that is being played with.

I think that should read "being a guitar player, do you really want to start learning an instrument that's tuned in fifths?"

I had one. It's cool, but you really need to make it your main instrument. It's decidedly not easy.

Victor.

French Horn and Bassoon. I have seven intruments in my "collection" already, though, so I'm sure I'll pick those two up eventually .
