What Instrument Do You Wish You Could Play?

At the moment I play cor anglais to an ok level. Are there any instruments you wish you could play?

I love the sound of the viola even though it seem unpopular next to the violin. To me the viola has a deeper character, but unforntunatly violas cost money, and money I don't have.

If I played a string instrument it would definitely be cello - I love the rich full sound of a cello section in an orchestra, or even a solo cello! I guess I'm attracted to the bass section being a bassoonist...

I also adore the sound of the clarinets - I'm always jealous that they are so versatile and have that warm "round" sound (I tend to think of sounds in terms of shapes...). But alas! I cannot even produce a decent note from a clarinet!

I'm glad you like the clarinet

I wish I could play the french horn just so I could play Mozart's Horn Concerto. That tune is so good!

Oh ok if we're going for non-orchestral instruments I'm dying to have a go on any relative of the bassoon such as the rackett and dulcian, as well as the Sarussophone (various spellings) which looks awesome. But I think the reeds would be hard to come by let alone the instrument!

There's not really any instrument I wish I could play. Cause I already play all the ones I've ever wanted to play

I'm not a guitar person myself, I hate the things. I would much prefer learning the bassoon or the oboe. Go double reeds!
