I'm not sure, I've had more experience singing art songs, but I am learning Barbarina's aria from the Le Nozze di Figaro, which is lovely, a little bit short though!

I enjoy listening to over the top arias which I couldn't sing in a million years like The queen of the night aria from the magic flute hehe, but I really want to do some more Puccini, he seems to be the king of arias!

I don't think you should feel guilty for liking those songs hehe, just think of them all as beautiful music, are you afraid your manly pride will get a bashing or something? Hehe

Have you got any more favourites? I'm liking Jessye Norman singing Richard Strauss at the minute
