How would you rate Music-Web?

How would you rate Music-Web against other online music communities?

Any suggestions for improvement?

Your opinion matters, so please share it

I like the range of subjects it covers, and from limited sampling I think there are interesting compositions to hear and investigate. The down side is that page transfers are uniformly slow as compared to the other sites I visit. I have access via 2 Mbit/s broadband, shared with two other users, so most HTML comes in pretty quickly. On dial-up, you would not notice this site being slow.

I think that the site is great. It is good to exchange ideas and listen to other peoples music.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. At the moment the server is a little iffy, which I'm trying to sort out.

I like what I've seen. I love the idea of an encyclopedia.

Have to say it, it's my preferred site now.
I used to belong to several forums - not that many, I'm no great internet fan, but I only keep up with one other now - partly because of time.

There are a wealth of other sites out there… most of them are based upon self-promoting amateurism. In my opinion, Music-Web has a lot of quality posting at the moment. And with the number of active members steadily rising—and a better than usual active/passive-ratio—, I suggest that Music-Web is here to stay.

It may not become the biggest music board out there, but quality outperforms quantity every time, and sooner or later, everybody interrested will know about Music-Web. It’s my main posting place for music, I rarely visit other places.

Regards

There's another website I frequent called Young Composers, my advice to the members here. Stay on Music Web! Young Composers is full of cliques and such, and there are tons of rude members there.

I love Music Web! I give it 9/10, the only thing that would make it better would be a theme song

This is a great site. MaestroX is a great administrator who is comments on almost everything posted here. The members here are all friendly and knowledgeable in various ways. I think this is an ideal forum for feedback, growth, or just chatting it up and sharing musical thoughts. I give this site a 9/10. If Music-Web had a chat room, the experience here would all the sweeter!
