| I don't wish to interfere or rain on parades but my experience of a few sites has been that the addition of live chat does have a downside. It's a policy that represents quite a shift of emphasis and will surely keep the staff busy. Sooner or later it's nuisance value will attract mischief-makers. But I'm no avid internetter so my opinion is possibly jaundiced? Reith |

| I think the channel name is #Music-Web in the freenet network. BTW everyone, I'm working on a chat system that will work straight off the forum. It should be ready by Xmas |

| We have our own chat now, please read here At the moment due to the concerns raised in this thread about a chat/irc room we are putting the service on trial for 4 weeks. From there we can see any pro/cons with the feature. |
