Hi!

I see you are using advertising now, I hope this will not get too intrusive! Can you select that types of advertising to be shown? Lots of musical content would be good if we are to have it!

Hi there,

Yes unfortunaltly due to running cost we have to consider the financial aspects of operating Music-Web.

The advertising shown at the end of each thread is currently being tested. We havn't had any problems so far. We can look into adding options in your UserCP to set the type of advertisements shown.

Lots of musical content would be good if we are to have it!

We currently use Google adsense as the middle man of displaying our advertisements, we are currently looking at ways to improve the types of ads that appear by operating our own advertising service on Music-Web.

hope this will not get too intrusive!

This was our top priority when considering where to place advertisements, the staff discussed long and hard about this matter so we could gain a balance on the forum.

I would also like to add that all money made from Music-Web is reinvested in the site.

You think of everything! As long as the majority is music based I can go along with that.
