Small Forum Rearrangment

We've just rearranged the "Understanding, Writing and Performing" forums to include an area for user articles and tutorials, aswell as to preserve an area for the offical Music-Web Guides.

So if you'd like to help others by writing an article that could be of interest, dive straight in!

I've placed my guide of "How to write a Fugue" in there to get the ball rolling.;-)

Happy learning

Re: Small Forum Rearrangment

This seems like a great arrangement!

I've been thinking to write some super-noob tutorials for mostly how you combine chords and melody etc. using the most simple explanations I can think of. I myself didn't have that kind of help when I was trying to get an idea of how composition works, and it would be nice to spare some other noob from such an experience. However, I doubt I'll write anything down just yet, as my knowledge is still very limited, and if I started to ramble on the workings on music I would probably write something misleading and mess everyone up

But I surely am looking forward to reading some user tutorials here. Internet really needs something like this, and believe me, I've tried searching for tutorials on the subject (and found very few)!
