Re: Wave file

How big is this file, Mr B. Just checked the allowance and it's 8Mb (which is a very short piece of music or a low-fi one).

May I invite you to a piece of free software. CDex. It converts wavs to Mp3s at your choice of resolution. The MP3s are considerably smaller and - ok they aren't CD quality, but not far off.

I have version 1.51. It only takes 3Mb on your disc.

>It can rip tracks from a CD. more important...
>it can convert wavs to mp3s....and if you wanted to do it,
>convert mp3s to wavs.

Once installed, you just press f4 to set up the basic folders for receiving the mp3s (and a few other things per your proclivities), then... to convert wav to mp3, you press f11 and select the wavs you want converted from the window, browsing folders if necessary. Then you click "convert" and....abracadabra...the mp3 appears in the library/folder you set up.

And here it is, just for you - version 1.51.

The CDex magic spell !

Re: Wave file

I can't get a MP3 to load either. (Nor a Midi.) These don't even have active icons.

Re: Wave file

ttw I recently changed the configuration of the server. You should be able to upload files again.

Could you try upload files and report back the result?

Sorry for the inconvience everyone

Re: Wave file

Now, I've exceeded my quota. I'll decide what to drop later.
