A few short pieces

Hey guys.

I have a few short pieces posted on my soundclick page. The top three (as of today) I put together just a few days ago. Finished the last one this morning.

I'm not one for a lot of detail, so there are tons of things that I could do to improve my compositions. I'm self taught, so there are things that I still don't know, but I am getting there. If you have any practical suggestions, I would love to hear them.

And, tell you what, I'll give you the first suggestion. Since I don't spend a lot of time on a piece (get bored and move on eventually), one thing that is missing from my pieces is dynamics.

Oh, I guess that reminds me of another thing I am missing: a real good sample library. I would like to get GPO (Garritan Personal Orchestra), but money is tight right now. And, to spend a couple hundred dollars, I would want to have several pieces ready for the making. I'm working on it. But, there's probably a lot I can accomplish with free soundfonts.

P.S. - Anyone have a name suggestion for Opus 1? Or, what do you think of when you hear it?
