Desert Market

This is something for the game again.
It sounds very different from my previous works, or so I'm told, and it's supposed to be going under a scene for an upbeat desert society in the market area (think moogles, if you know them)

Re: Desert Market

Sounds very RPG, game like. Nice work. I would like to hear this orchestrated though. A pizz cello and double bass on the bass line and the main melody on the clarinet or an oboe on the melody. Fill the middle range with so nice harmony and you'll have quite a cool work that would hold a bit more weight.

Thanks for sharing

Boneman is on a distinguished road
Re: Desert Market

I enjoyed the piece as well. The only iffy thinng for me was the choice of accompaniment. The piano sound becomes a little boring. Maybe some other instrument/sounds would add something more?

Re: Desert Market

This is very different from most desert setting soundtracks I've heard, and I think that's a nice thing. It didn't have the usual duduks etc. found in most "desert music", which was refreshing. The overall atmosphere came over as joyful. Very lifting. The bumbling melody on the xylophone (?) is pleasing. I think this would really fit an uplifting scene as was intended. Maybe not for active listening, but very good for a soundtrack or mood music in my opinion.
