MaestroX will become famous soon enough
Re: Waltz

A great nice light hearted waltz

I'd love to see a score with this and give it a little play. Its very consistant harmony and mood all the way through. I consider consistancy one of the hardest things to do in composition so I'm always impressed when someone comes out with a piece thats well rounded and balanced as this one.

Great stuff

Re: Waltz

Yes, very likeable. I've no other comment really - the harmony and structure made it easy to sit back and listen to. Sounds deceptively easy where it probably isn't to bring it off with that lightness!

Re: Waltz

I revised the waltz to make things a bit lighter. The mp3 link is the same as above. New PDF attached.

Re: Waltz

I liked this alot. It really sounds like a classical waltz. And somehow it reminded me of the wild west, too. Perhaps it was that brightness. Nothing much to complain about. As Maestro said, it sounds very consistent. Still, it retains some interest without becoming too repetitive or boring. A successful piece overall. Is this played for real or by a computer? I couldn't tell the difference, but I'd guess it's played by a real player.

Re: Waltz

Surprise! It's played by Finale 2007 on a computer. I did tweak the "human playback" part a bit. Anyway, thanks.
